Billboard rap charts 2020 will be unveiled at a major music industry event in the US on Friday, with Lil Wayne’s billboard ad campaign dominating the headlines.

The billboard campaign, which featured the rapper’s signature catchphrase “Justin Bieber”, has been a fixture of music advertising for nearly a decade, and is now the biggest commercial campaign in the world.

It was launched in July 2016 with the help of US advertising agency CAA and was launched by the rapper as part of a collaboration with the pop star’s manager, Russell Simmons.

It is the latest initiative in Lil Wayne ‘s ongoing global advertising push and comes just weeks after the US pop star won an Oscar for best music video for the single “Work”.

It was the first of a number of big music awards for the actor, who also won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for his song “Love on the Brain”.

The US campaign also featured the actor’s popular endorsement of American company Blue Apron, which has been credited with helping to drive the rise of the online meal delivery service.

Lil Wayne, a two-time Grammy-nominated artist, has also been active in promoting veganism, with his Instagram account featuring photos of himself eating vegan and other vegan-friendly dishes.

In a statement, Simmons said: ‘We’ve been in touch with LilWayne about a new initiative to celebrate his global success and celebrate the importance of the internet, as well as his commitment to making art and creating his music.’

The billboard campaign has been supported by US-based music publisher Capitol Records and has been released in the form of a digital album titled Justin BIEBER: The Lil Wayne Billboard Music Campaign.

It will be released on Friday and features tracks from the album including “Work”, which was originally released in 2015.

Lil Wayne is also featured on the album, which is set to be released in December 2020, alongside Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Snoop Lion.

This is just the latest in a long line of Lil Wayne billboards, which have featured on billboards around the world, including Australia, Japan, the US, Canada and Brazil.
