A few months ago, a former colleague of mine emailed me to ask if he could help me out.
The idea of buying a billboard for his new office building was exciting.
He’d never considered it before, but it seemed to be something that I could easily afford.
I told him I was willing to pay $150 a month for the billboard, plus $40,000 for the real estate and $50,000 to cover his legal fees.
It was easy.
It would be less than half the price of a billboard, and the ad would be prominently displayed in the building.
And he could take the billboard to work for free.
In a world of massive advertising budgets, it was a no-brainer.
It made sense.
It seemed so obvious that we would do it.
And then it happened.
Two weeks after we agreed, he emailed me back to tell me he was outbid by an ad agency.
He was stunned.
“I thought you guys were going to be my best man,” he said.
But it turned out that this ad agency had gone to great lengths to make sure that the billboard would not look anything like the one I had on my office wall.
I got a text from my former colleague: “That is so wrong!”
It took some time to get to the bottom of this story, but I’ve learned a lot from my experience.
I can’t recommend buying a large billboard for your own business, but if you want to keep your advertising dollars in the right hands, I’ve got good news.
The good news is that there are a number of tips you can learn from your past experiences to help you make the right choice when you decide what to buy.
You can also look for billboards that are unique to your area and be sure to ask about any extras that might be added to the product.
The bad news is, you don’t want to be spending all your money on a billboard that will only be used by a select few.
And if you can find one that will appeal to you, don’t hesitate to buy it.
What is a billboard?
A billboard is a commercial that advertises a product or service.
Most companies don’t use a billboard when they advertise their products or services, but a few companies do.
In the United States, most companies advertise through billboards in cities, and billboards in rural areas are a common feature of most billboards.
The most popular billboard types are: large signs that are hung over a highway or bridge
