The ‘Bilbo and the BFG’ cartoon series, a landmark in the ’80ies, was released on Cartoon Network in 1981 and is widely considered to be the pinnacle of the franchise.

Now, fans can relive some of the most iconic episodes of the series in the best of all possible ways!

In the classic animated series, Bilbo and his friends the dwarves of Gondor and the elves of Bree, embark on a perilous journey through time, space, and other dimensions to save their homeland.

The story follows the adventures of the Bilbo Baggins, Bilbog, the Hobbit, Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee, and their companions on the perilous journey from the past to the future.

The show’s main characters include: Bilbo, the Lonely Hobbit, Gandalf the Grey, Gandolf, Merry, Pippin, Boromir, and the dwarves.

The episodes feature a wide variety of memorable and beloved characters including the Hobbit characters Gandalf, Gandolin, Bilog and Boromirs brother Samwise.

The animated series was also a huge hit for the Nickelodeon Television network, and its animated short “The Fellowship of the Ring” was released in 1984.
