Billboard magazine’s annual Top 10 list of the year’s most iconic albums has been released today.
The list, published on the Billboard website, ranks the best-selling albums of the last 10 years and breaks down the genre.
The rankings are based on a tally of sales in the United States and Canada.
The top 10 most popular albums on the list are: 1.
Drake’s The Life of Pablo – $859 million, according to Billboard.
2.
Drake & Kanye West – $815 million, Billboard says.
3.
Kanye West & Drake – $749 million, which is down slightly from its previous ranking.
4.
Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP – $624 million, or 78 percent of the album’s sales.
5.
Jay Z & Beyonce – $575 million, up 15 percent from last year.
6.
Kanye & Jay Z – $525 million, down 10 percent from the previous year.
